How Can Dogs Tell If Someone Is Good Or Bad

How Can Dogs Tell If Someone Is Good Or Bad

Dogs are known for their sixth sense, and when it comes to people they can tell if someone is good or bad. This is because dogs will be attracted to a person with a kind personality, much in the same way that many humans like the company of those who have similar values.

How can dogs tell if someone is good or bad:

1. From the types of people they meet

Dogs are very open to meeting new people, and they can tell if a person is good or bad based on who they have met in the past. A dog that has met someone kind and gentle will have an overall feel-good feeling about them, and this will transfer to other people.

Some dogs may choose not to like someone for reasons unknown, and this could be because it's in their instinct to protect themselves from a potential threat. Therefore, a dog that has been abused by a known person will naturally know not to trust them again.

2. From their actions around the dog

Dogs are very good at analyzing the actions of people around them and will be able to tell if someone is good or bad or if they are kind or abusive. The way they act around the dog will influence how they feel about that particular person, more so than what they say or even how they look.

For instance, a person who is kind and gentle will allow the dog to approach them when they think it's appropriate. In contrast, someone who is abusive or threatening will grab the dog by its collar and force them in a particular direction.

3. By body language

Dogs can pick up on subtle body language signals, and this can cause them to know if someone is good or bad. For example, a person who is smiling will have a lot of positive energy around them, and this will be transferred to other people.

However, no matter how happy they are that person could be completely miserable in their own life, which will then negatively influence the dog.

4. By scent

Dogs can tell if someone has been around them if they have been near that particular person's body or breath. Therefore, if a person is kind the dog will pick up on the good energy that's around them.

But, someone who has been aggressive towards them will cause them to have an adverse reaction because they have picked up on their bad intentions.

5. With their eyes

Even though they can't see as clearly as humans do dogs can tell if someone is good or bad by looking into their eyes. Dogs are very good at understanding body language, and the eyes will be able, to tell the truth about the actions of that person.

So if someone is smiling and looking into their eyes, they will feel a positive vibe around them. But, if that person is angry their energy will have negative intentions towards them.

6. From touch alone

Dogs are very sensitive to touch, and they can tell if they have met someone before by the firmness of their grip. The way they touch them will affect the dog's view of that person, and whether or not they have bad intentions towards them.

So if someone is firm or aggressive towards them it will show their true colors because that's what their actions show. However, if someone is kind and gentle it will transfer over to anyone else that comes into contact with that person.

Conclusion

Dogs are extremely aware of their surroundings and they will be able to pick up on the good or bad vibes that are around them. Therefore, they can tell if a person is good or bad by how they act around them. Although many psychological issues can inhibit dogs from knowing who's good or bad there are times when they will know who is to be trusted and not. Always remember that not all dogs have good judgment, so be careful who you decide to bring home to your family.
